StretchClock reminds computer users to stretch. Use this easy exercise program to feel better and strengthen your core while you are at your computer or desk.
An example of what one would look like:
“Shoulder and back stretch. StretchClock is dedicated to reminding office workers to stretch. The stretches are targeted to provide relief from and reduce the risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Repetitive Stress [of Strain] Injury (RSI). “
Notes from Stan:
- It will post a little minute reminder at the top of your monitor. You have access to the program variables at any time by clicking on the + icon (IE: pause the program, reset the timer, set up your settings and schedule, etc.).
- There is a also a free edition – with very limited features.
- Don’t accept the prompts to begin doing your routine stretching exercises in more than one window at a time. It might get confusing to try to hear the instructions and watch the video with two playing at the same time.
Anyone who uses a computer for more than an hour at a time should move away and get some stretching and/or exercise from time to time. This program provides a handy little reminder that will show up at a scheduled time, right on your computer monitor.
