You’ll be able to navigate around this blog/website using the Categories (Table of Contents), Archives and Top Posts & Pages in the left hand column. You’ll be able to go to the date of a specific article in the Calendar, obtain an RSS feed, Follow this Blog via Email, Top Clicks, and a list of some of the Blogs I Follow in the right hand column. I’ll add/delete or modify any enhancements that I think might be of interest to you, from time to time.
Photographs and videos are widely distributed throughout my work. Most all of the videos posted on this website are best viewed full screen (the little icon at the bottom right of the video). If you only have a slow speed Internet connection you may want to wait until you have access to a high speed connection (IE: WiFi Hotspot – at a nearby restaurant or library). >> Sound On.
My first book was published in 1972: but most of you know that for the last ten years I’ve been writing and publishing on various topics and have set-up and managed a total of 28 Internet websites. During the last decade I wrote millions of words and supplied over 20,000 hyperlinks: to let my followers go directly to my original Internet sources. (I had been publishing using American English – but I will now revert, mostly, back to Canadian English and Grammar. Yes, Pete and Priscilla, labour and neighbour do have a u; don’t worry, I won’t go all the way back to programme).
On July 26, 2013, I turned 69 years old and will now just enjoy my retirement and not continue to update most any of those other websites and/or hyperlinks. I may make some exceptions if my fans and followers want me to include some special items. Perhaps?
Educators teach. Students study. Writers write. Thankfully, that never seems to stop. Certainly I have many years worth of material that I can draw upon.
From now on, I will write about various items that may only be of interest me. I’ll post those on only one personal Weblog, here at https://stanwebb.wordpress.com/. This is a chance to meet a whole new slew of readers who might not otherwise find my works and enjoy them. I will go into more depth on various aspects of my authorship/photography/videography, my (now retired) business life and, especially, the works themselves. My articles cover a wide variety topics. Some may seem quite eclectic, intricate and offer tiny pieces of information: it is always a pleasure to look at something more closely, to explore it – it helps me focus on what it is I do, which can appear to others as quite blurry. Sometimes.
The other thing I get to do is tell stories – which is, after all, what I do. So many stories of research, of musing, of the business can’t, of necessity, make it into the work itself. Since I am getting older, I can tell the other tales of life ‘on the road’ – the real one this time – some of the adventures I’ve had there; some of the people I’ve met.
I hope you are having a great life. I am always reminding myself to: Lean in, Lighten up & Let go.
